Month Minus Two..

Yes, it would appear that it has been almost a month.. Instead of writing boring excuses, I will tell you all about my long month.
December brought:
PAPERS. PAPERS. PAPERS.
An SLR.
PAPERS.
New advancements in my book.
FINALS.
Drama monologue, which I rocked!
And.. some other stuff that escapes my memory.
And there you have it... So, I guess the challenge is what's your month been like? [Sorry for a lame update...]

Excuses and Papers and Veggies, Oh My!

-Le gasp!-
It seems as though it has been much longer than a fortnight since I last wrote here.. Well, I guess that it's that time again! Excuse time! Excuse time! It's time for an excuse!! Yay.
Okay, so first off.. I've been super swamped with papers and memorizing lines for class and so forth and so on. And I've also been busy trying to get my book published. At the same time, I've been practicing my singing... Both projects are going pretty well, so I'm looking forward to seeing the results. But aside from that, I must admit that I'm still hooked on Rock Band 2. And that I'm pretty sure it's not going to stop any time soon... I also registered for classes for the Spring, so now I've got Thanksgiving to look forward to before I disappear again... I will be entering the black hole of FINALS. Oh, I hope I pass.
Side note; I'm looking forward to Thanksgiving this year. I usually always do, but this year is going to be awesome! Why? Because I get to cook my veggie meal! I'm looking forward to it.. and will return with the results... Um, I guess the challenge is to leave a comment or such [obviously it's going to be a such..] telling me what your plans are for Thanksgiving.
Power.

From Manchester To..

Oh bloody 'ell! It's already November! Time to look forward to our favorite holidays, where we give thanks, tackle people in lines for presents, and drink till January second of the new year! Yay... But, we're not quite done with Halloween yet, are we? And why is that, John? Because I haven't ranted about my adventure! So here it is.

So, Jamii came over and we watched Resident Evil 3: Extinction. It was a pretty decent movie; decent enough that we determined that we can not survive a zombie invasion at this point in time. Then Cholera and Aiden and Liam were here, well, rather there. And then, Lassie and Penelope arrived! And then we went to a makeshift Indirections concert! I'm not gonna lie, it was pretty solid. And then? Liam's guitar strap broke. And then? And then we sacrificed a chia pet.
The end.
Not really the end since I'm still here. So, go pick up the debut album from Indirections! It's $2 on ebay. Which is about 1.21 pounds! That's a steal!!!!!! GO GET IT.
Challenge: Tell me in a comment or such what you did for Halloween!

Horror Flicks For The Masses

WOO HOO! It's October... still. Er, anyway, I'm writing this while I'm watching a movie, and not just any movie... a horror-ish flick. I really do love horror flicks. And with Halloween quickly approaching, it seems as though that's all I want to watch. So, for all of you who aren't going trick-or-treating or to a Halloween party, I've compiled a list of horror flicks that would seem appropriate for the season. I, myself, am hoping to have a horror movie marathon with some buddies. So without further ado, here's the list of horror flicks for a great night in:

Now, in every group of horror-flick lovers, there's one person that truly loves classic horror flicks. So for them, I recommend:
The Shining, A Nightmare On Elm Street, Carrie, Friday The Thirteenth, The Exorcist, Child's Play, Poltergeist
My Top Pick: Child's Play [which is the first in a great series]

In the same group, you're also going to find someone that's really into gory flicks, so much that at the end of the flick, they're the ones who get up to "wash the [non-existent] blood" off their hands. So for them, I recommend:
Silent Hill, Saw [any of them, really; Saw II was my personal favorite], The Texas Chainsaw Massacre
My Top Pick: Silent Hill [SO AWESOME]

There's also the one that loves a good psychotic killer flick, so I recommend for you:
Funny Games, Orphan, I Still Know What You Did Last Summer [sequel to I Know What You Did Last Summer]
My Top Pick: Funny Games [really grand movie]

And I didn't forget about the ones that love sitting on the edge of their seat in suspense! Here's your list:
The Descent (does this really belong here? oh well..), The Hills Have Eyes, The Haunting In Connecticut, The Blair Witch Project
My Top Pick: Well, no matter what I add to this list, The Blair Witch Project would've trumped it anyway. And if you're impatient, watch the first ten minutes, ten in the middle, and the last twenty.

Now, I couldn't forget all of you that love vampires and zombies and slayers! And for you, I recommend:
Resident Evil, Underworld, Van Helsing, Kill Bill
My Top Pick: Underworld [has more slaying than the word; Kill Bill was really close... I'm still debating]

I also didn't forget about the kiddies or the kids in us... So, I recommend for EVERYONE:
The Nightmare Before Christmas, Beetlejuice, Coraline, Corpse Bride, Edward Scissorhands, The Addams Family Values
My Top Pick: I say have a marathon with all.

And, lastly, as I conclude this list because I can't rattle my brain much longer in search of horror flicks, I leave you with a list suitable for those of you who like to make fun of horror films while watching them:
Cabin Fever, When A Stranger Calls, Snakes On A Plane (is that even horror?), Jennifer's Body
My Top Pick: Cabin Fever [That movie just sucked]

So, there you have it. My list of random horror flicks. I mean, I could've broken down these lists way more than I did, but I'm tired and I'm really into this movie. And as I've reached its intermission, I can't help but hope that they make a Dante's Inferno movie. And a Devil May Cry one. I hope they don't suck though... Oh well. As I leave you all, the challenge is to tell me your own ideal horror flick marathon. Maybe you'd watch Hannah Montana or not... Whatever it is, leave it in a comment or such.

October And A Bus Ride..

It's October! -le gasp!- October is an odd month. For me, anyway. There are birthdays and anniversaries, and HALLOWEEN, and the beginning of the Charlie Brown specials. Ah, Charlie Brown... one of the few cartoons of my childhood that never gets old. But, I've already been nostalgic... so, I'm not really sure why I'm typing. But, I would like to comment on a weird thing that happened yesterday on the bus. Two things, actually. So, I was sitting on the bus and listening to music and then a lady comes on the bus and she was eating an apple. It's not weird or anything, but I'm mentioning it because I usually see people eating fast food or drinking coffee on the bus, so this was quite different. Hooray for you, healthy person. Anyway, after that, these two girls got on the bus, and they were obviously high school students. And they began gossiping literally like this:
"I mean, I heard it from Amy, who heard it from Paul, who heard it from Wes, but it's supposed to be a secret, so don't tell anyone." [Note: I changed the names.]
Now, while they were in the middle of this, I just wanted to start laughing. As far as I know, I don't think I've ever had a conversation where I actually listed the stops on the gossip train. Maybe I'm just weird, but I found that really weird and not normal... But then again, neither am I, so I don't know... it just seemed like it was a scene out of a parody of an actual teenage drama show? =X
Well anyway, that was my lame adventure, and here's the challenge: Have you ever had any odd or weird encounters on the train/bus/in traffic/etc.? Maybe someone pulled your hair and tried to braid it. Or maybe someone tried to sell you batteries? Or maybe that's just me... Whatever it is, leave it in a comment or such.

Thank You, -Insert Your Name Here [No, really.]-

Well, it's been a very long time now, hasn't it? Hm, well, I've actually tried writing an entry here a few times but to no avail. All the topics seemed lackluster, and I wasn't in the mood to be dull. So today, I was feeling stressed.. CRAZY STRESSED. But then decided to stop. [Hammer Time]
Why? Because of the greatest thing in whole universe. Friends. Not the show, but the actual people that remind you that even when it's clear that your sanity is hanging by a thread, it's still hanging. So, today, I'd like to dedicate this entry to all of my friends - past, present, future, imaginary, and invisible. So if you are reading this with a group of friends, whom I may or may not know, do keep in mind that this is directed not only to you, but to all of them as well. This is dedicated to all of my friends who have been so weird, eccentric, and amazing that they've given me some of the best memories of my life. To the ones that remind me that I do exist to them, even when I forget. To the ones that accept my oddness and still choose to invite me to tag along with them in public places. To all the people that have been with me through our and my own ups and downs, lefts and rights, and are still willing to offer me tea. This is basically to everyone who I've ever spent at least five seconds with, and has changed my life for the better. This if for all the people that encourage me to be the random, oddball that I am. So, with that said, I'd like to dedicate this to the people who I've shared today and yesterday with. And all of the other days with. And now, I can honestly say that because of my friends, I can actually look forward to tomorrow. So, I thank you. Now then, the challenge will be to do the same thing I just did. Write a note to a friend or all of your friends telling them why you appreciate them. Maybe it's because they saved your life. Or shared a cookie with you. Whatever it is, just tell them.
Pea.

-InsertAwesomeNameHere-Day... Currently A WIP.

Huzzah! It hasn't been a fortnight since my last post. Anyway, today was kind of odd. First off, I woke up... at 3AM.. Kind of lame since I don't start class until around eleven. But I at least managed to get in about three hours of extra sleep. Moving along.. I was walking to my first class this morning with my buddy, Mew, and this girl was handing out pamphlets.. We walked passed her, and then she said two words that made me walk back to get one. It was a pamphlet about animal cruelty and I still feel sorry for the critters.. It totally made me thankful to be a vegetarian... but made me kind of want to get more involved. Hm... Oh! I also registered to vote today! I later made calls to the senator to go green and it was awesome. Government officials are much more pleasant on the phone than I thought they'd be.
Anyway, I had a hour to spare before my next class and between calls and such, I ended up wondering something - if I were ever in a position of power.. what would I do? Well, I think I'd have a costume day. No, not Halloween, and I'm not entirely sure why... But I would totally participate and wear about ten costumes... in that one day. I seriously already have a few planned out. I'd also strive for a greener world, raise awareness for animals, and ultimately, strive for world peace. And if all of my motions get vetoed, I'd at least opt for a Free-Hug day. Those are fun. 116 HUGS! And maybe I'd add a day or two to February... I feel like it's the underdog and maybe in MonthLand it gets bullied by all the other months. Or maybe not... it deserves to be unique. I wonder what I'd be thinking if I weren't me and I were reading this. Oh bloody 'ell... Well, before I'm off, here's the challenge. If you were President or Emperor of the World for a month, what would you do? Ban certain park rules that prohibit teens and adults from playing in playgrounds so everyone could play on the slide? Or maybe you'd use your power to stay in power and take over Pluto. No? Alright then... whatever it may be, leave it in a comment or such.

Three Cheers For The 90's

Well, it seems it's been awhile. Once again, I don't know what to talk about. So, here's another Fish Bowl Post.

Question:
Nostalgia.
[Asked By: Kierra Callouh]

Answer:
Well, that's not exactly a question... However, I'd like to take this opportunity to talk about nostalgic things. Take old school cartoons. Remember Pokémon, X-Men, The Rugrats? Super Mario and Sonic The Hedgehog even had cartoons back then. Oh and The Ninja Turtles. I always wanted pizza when I watched that show. It was such a pleasant time when cartoons actually taught a generation something. Granted, it wasn't completely important, but those cartoons had sub-plots and character depth... to a certain degree. Now, it may seem as though I'm about to bash today's cartoons, but I don't really watch them, so I'm just going to continue on with my rant about nostalgic things. Like The Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers! And TGIF...
Moving along... When I was younger, I used to play video games A LOT. To the point where I actually started working on my own video game script. Even now I feel like playing Streets of Rage, Parasite Eve, Final Fantasy, Resident Evil, Metal Gear Solid, and Mortal Kombat. OH... the MK craze was simply amazing. I'm going to make that my ringtone. I sort of forgot where I was going with this...
Hm... I also liked those little Tamagotchi or GigaPet thingamawatties. The sad thing was, I'd feed it and play with it and come back after ten minutes to discover that it had died. Good thing it was only pixels... Gosh I want one now. Well then, before I go and change my ringtone, YouTube old cartoons, and set up the PlayStation, I'll leave with another Challenge. What are some nostalgic things from your childhood? Maybe it's a high bouncy ball... or not. Whatever it may be, leave it in a comment or such, while I go play Soul Calibur 4. Er, that's not too nostalgic, but eh...

Tigers, Robots, and College..

So today was VERY interesting. I went to an event for my college and it was weird, random, fun, awkward, and a little surprising. First off, we sat at a table with black balloons, which floated away before breakfast was over (and then the other tables started copying us). Then we all walked around the school... just to walk back into it. Then we sat on the poor grass and I met three of my twins; a hyper Gemini, a girl who shared my birthday; and another chickadee with too many similarities to name. But they were all amazing. And in between all of that, I introduced myself as Oprah, Hannah Montana, Alvira, and Pandora, saw a guy on stilts singing 'Eye of the Tiger' and also a robot knight, and gave a ton of high fives. All in all, I've realized that my school is filled with bizarre people and activities. I think I made a good choice. And now my challenge to you is: Have you ever been placed in an awkward and random situation and then take advantage of the whole situtation and redefined their definition of weird? Or maybe you were awkward and didn't know how to react? Or who knows, maybe you've found the perfect school that suits you? Whichever it may be, leave it in a comment or such.
Muah.

Lunch And The City..

Well.. Today was quite interesting and it's not over yet. For one, I went into Manhattan and saw lots and lots and LOTS of tourists. [Note: If you are a tourist.. please do not walk as though you're going to be walking in SLOW MOTION.] Anyway, I did a little shopping and such and went into a lovely store where I met a lovely boy. Then I left, did a little more shopping, and then went to lunch.
Now, I'm not always one to go overboard when it comes to complaining.. But this is my blog and I've just got to. So with that said, if you'd like to maintain a positive image of me, then please navigate yourself away. If not, then I am now going to rant about my distressing lunch.. Oi.
So today I went to lunch at a restaurant in Manhattan. [Note: Because I have a conscience, I am not going to name the restaurant, but will refer to it as...Cheesy Charlie's? Yeah.] Because I'm a vegetarian, I was hoping to order the Vegan Panini without tomatoes. It wasn't on the menu (though it usually is), so I inquired about it. The waiter told me that it was still available and I placed my order. After waiting for awhile, my order arrived and it was completely a disaster. He brought me a Vegetarian wrap with tomatoes and mayo. And not wanting to be rude, I simply sat there staring at it. Now, I could've easily picked the tomatoes out and eaten the wrap.. But mayo is where I drew the line (no eggies for the veggies). So then I ordered some fries and sat there eating fries and the nachos that came with the wrap. I didn't eat the wrap and the waiter didn't charge me for my fries. So, I suppose it balanced out a bit. But I've learned a few things from that lunch. For one, not to order something off the menu unless the waiter is pleasant enough to get it right. [Sorry, dude.] Secondly, not to sit at a lovely table if the waiter isn't enthusiastic or just trying to get his/her job done. And lastly, never to return to that restaurant.
I know that this entry must make it seem as though I'm a terrible costumer or something, but I mean I just wanted to have a nice meal with pleasant people.. and I don't usually have these kind of things happen to me. So maybe I was overdue for it or something.
And now, the CHALLENGE! Leave a comment or such telling me about an experience you've had at a restaurant. Maybe the waiter gave the last cheesecake slice you asked him to save to another customer. Or maybe you had a great time and got an extra order of onion rings? You tell me.
So now I am off to do another photo shoot.
Simple.

The Residential Ghost..

The Residential Ghost.
Yes, that is I. I am not going to sit here and type excuses as to why I haven't posted anything here in ages, but I will say that I am TIRED. [Note: I just felt like typing that in capitals for dramatic effect.]
Moving on.. I don't really know what to say in this post, so I suppose I'll do another Fish Bowl Post! WHEEEEEEEEEE.

Question:
How do you make a star?
[Asked By: T. Squishy]

Answer:
Ah.. to make a star.. Now, there are many types of stars, and thus, there are many methods of making these stars. Since the askee isn't here at the moment to specify, I will tell you a method that I am aware of.
First, I get some plasma and gravity. Play blitzball with both for awhile and then pause to get a helium balloon. Remove the helium and then condense all of the ingredients. Next, take the sphere that Jamii got me for my birthday and throw it at the mixture. After the smoke clears, I have myself a star...
And if that happens to fail, I can always ask my Vickii to make me a few lucky stars. She's awesome at that. Much better than yours truly.
So now I challenge you to leave a comment or such telling me how you make stars or would like to. Or better yet, ask me something and maybe I'll answer it in a FB post.
[By the way.. this entry is filler.. not meant to make sense or anything.. Till next time when we resume with our dramatic anime series! Whoosh.. Oh dear, I'm so weird.]

The Rain Sneezed On Me..

Today was cool and sunny, so I went into Manhattan. It was pretty awesome; I hung out a bit, took some photos, and bought some pins and bracelets. It was actually pretty funny because I kept saying that I act like such a tourist even though I've lived here all my life, and there were only like three tourists taking photos and such.. Hm.. Anyway, I also had a nice conversation about pins with the guy who sold them to me and then I had a raspberry.
When I was headed home, I had to make a pit stop and when I was leaving the store, the rain sneezed on me, so now I'm potentially sick.. It wasn't even the rain that you could escape from by waiting under an awning; it was monsoon rain. So, I had to tough it out and rush home. And with my luck, about ten minutes after I got home, the rain stopped. But it was all super awesome.
Now then, with that said, I leave you all with yet another challenge: Have you ever been caught in terrible weather only to have it dissipate once you were.. safer, I guess? OR have you ever been outside having an amazing day and then the weather just did a 180 on you? If so, leave it in a comment or such.
Cough.

Blank Canvas Debut

Hey, everyone. I know I've been gone for awhile, but I'm here now.
You may or may not be wondering what's happened to me, but I shall tell anyway. Why? This is my blog, remember?
Well, as I've seen in previous post(s), I've been mentioned that I'll be working on a collab blog with a few others. The blog is well on its way now and we're ready to go! Although we've only started with our bios, you should totally subscribe to us [and me] because it's going to be an AMAZING blog-magazine. Basically our goal is to create a magazine for teens that isn't like any other. Sure, we'll be covering some typical topics, BUT it will be in a totally different light. Why? Because humans weren't made from cookie cutters. We're all different and have different skin, hair, morals, ideas, thoughts, dreams and so much more. So, with that said, PLEASE go check out Blank Canvas. I assure you, that if you subscribe now, YOU will NOT regret it. So click the image below and you'll be redirected to our blog. Thank you all in advance.

Eclipse..

So, today I went out and had some fun. On my way home, I was informed that there was a fire in the neighborhood. As I turned into my street, I saw that the fire department was still there. I didn't exactly see the fire, but I did come in time to see that the wires were sparking and popping and on the verge of exploding. I skidded home and before I knew it, there was a blackout.
It was super fun but I barely got any work done. Not only that but the fire dept. wasn't all that helpful as they were just standing around and toasting to the occasion with their water and Gatorade bottles. Nice to know where the taxpayers' money's going.
The power has obviously been restored thanks to ConEd and I hope that tomorrow I can get back to working with Blank Canvas.
[Note: I don't have anything against the Fire Dept. and respect what they do.. most of the time.]

Carpal Tunnel And..?

Well.. It seems that I've got just a wee case of carpal tunnel in my left wrist. You may or may not be wondering how this happened.. Well, it happened because of a little game called Rock Band 2. It's not such a big problem. I mean, sure I dreamt about smashing those colored phrases. But that doesn't mean anything. Haha, I'm just kidding. Or am I?
Anyway, in the spirit of short blogging, I'd also like to say that I'll be a part of another blog which will be up and running in the near future. So, I'll post about that again soon..
Oh and a challenge.. Okay, so have you or anyone you know [which is really you in disguise, right?] ever been obsessed with something? Like, maybe painting your closet wall with a different Manic Panic color every day? Or watching a certain web video? Or maybe playing Rock Band 2? Leave it in a comment or such and I will be posting again soon.

"Weed. It's a plant, right?"

Aloha, again.
There has been some weird things happening as of late. Well, yesterday was kind of fun. Someone in my possibly direct bloodline said something that was hysterical. So I've decided to post it in a reenactment:
[As we were all sitting in the backyard last night, Monsieur Manilow was telling a tale..]
Monsieur Manilow: And the guy was like, 'You can have all the weed, bro.' And the other guy goes, 'C'mon, for what?' And he goes, 'Your shoes'. And so he gave him his shoes for the big bag of weed. He couldn't even finish it!
[Laughter among the group]
PDB Relative: [after a moment of thinking] Weed. It's a plant, right?
[Moment of silence.. which is actually only about two seconds.]
MM, Victor Y. D., and Yours Truly: [LAUGHTER]
YT: Of course it's a plant! What else would it be?!
VYD: No, it's a show on HBO.
YT: [laughs] Actually, it's a band.
PDBR: [in a failed attempt to retract statement..] I was just kidding. I know it's a plant.
YT: Sure..

[After two hours.. I had spaced out a bit and recalled this moment.. and begun laughing hysterically.]
PDBR: Are you alright?
YT: [in between laughing hysterically] 'Weed. It's a plant, right?' C'mon! What else could it be?
[At that point, another fit of laughter broke out among the group.]

Anyway, while last night was pretty fun, so was today. I got reacquainted with ROCK BAND 2! It was pretty awesome. Revamped the band, logo, and everything in between.

And now as I conclude this little post, I challenge anyone who reads this to recall a time in their life when they said something so ridiculous that they received the "WTF?!" look, OR have witnessed someone who did such. Leave a reply and I will be posting again soon.

DUM DUMS!

The Spring Roll Glutton..

Well, today was somewhat eventful.. Or maybe not, I can't remember that far back. Gee, that'd suck if it were true. But anyway, I'm sorry I missed two days.. but Wednesday I happened to be busy and yesterday I happened to be sick. Lame right? Exactly my thoughts.
Moving along, yesterday I purchased spring roll wrappers and lots of veggies! Upon my return home [and after visiting Rip van Winkle], I made spring rolls from scratch! Not the frozen ones you buy and put in frying pan or microwave? I'm not sure. But mine were okay.. HOWEVER, I tried them again today and they were AMAZING. I felt like a little glutton. But when you're the only vegetarian in a house of carnivores, finding foods that everyone enjoys is a truly rare thing.
I decided to spread the wealth and share the recipe I devised. So, here it is.

What You'll Need:
4-6 Spring Roll Wrappers [Available at any Chinese/Japanese/etc. specialty foods store; 25 are less than $1.50]
Lettuce/Cabbage [Preferably Lettuce]
Radish [One is more than enough]
Red Onion [Just a few layers]
Ginger
Basil Leaves
Carrot
Oil [Veggie/Canola]
Salt [Optional]
Soy Sauce [Optional]
Knife
Potato Peeler [Optional]
Frying Pan/Wok
Spoon/Chopsticks/Spatula/Something that isn't your fingers to turn the rolls while they are cooking
CLEAN SURFACES
Plate/Bowl/Dish [Include a dish for Soy Sauce If Applicable]

What To Do:
Note: When cutting the lettuce, basil leaves, red onions, carrots, etc (unless you're using baby carrots), ensure that they measure between 1/2 - 5/8 of the spring roll wrapper; some veggies WILL be SMALLER. Is it okay? Yes.
1. To prepare the veggies, please rinse them all and ensure that they are dry before using.
2. Begin to defrost your spring roll wrappers if necessary.
3. Chop the lettuce and basil leaves into vertical strips.
4. Cut the radishes as if you were making potato chips, and then cut the chips vertically into radish fries. xD
5. The same process may be used for the ginger, depending on the shape of the ginger. Be sure to get vertical strips somehow. Ninja skills perhaps?
6. Cut a wedge of onion, separate the layers, and cut vertically. [Note: I've yet to actually use only one layer, but cutting the one layer vertically could also be an alternative.]
7. Using the potato peeler, cut some strips of carrots. If you're using a regular knife, be sure that the strips are nice and thin. Like society wants us all to be.. How ironic right?
8. Separate the spring roll wrappers. [Note: Although they appear and are delicate, they won't tear when separating.. Unless you're super strong.. In which case, you may need some assistance.]
9. While doing this step, you may place the oil in the frying pan on low heat. Next, place a spring roll wrapper on a clean and dry surface. Begin centering and placing the veggies horizontally and closely about 1/2 inch from the bottom of the wrapper. Once the veggies are in place, you may sprinkle a pinch of salt and begin wrapping the spring roll from the bottom up. Be sure to do so tightly, but not too tightly that the wrapper will tear and pop!! About halfway through wrapping, fold the ends inward and continue wrapping until completion. Using your index and middle fingers, press the ends down so that they won't unravel in the pan. Repeat for the next rolls. [Note: I realized a good combination of making spring rolls: wrapper, two-three pieces of lettuce, carrot, two small pieces of ginger and basil leaves (one at either ends), two pieces of onion, four-five pieces of radishes, then two more carrot sticks and lettuce blades]
10. Once the oil is hot, place the spring rolls in the pan without burning yourself. Two-three at a time is fine, depending on the size of your frying pan. They'll be golden brown in less than two minutes, so using your "something that isn't your fingers to turn the rolls while they are cooking" utensil, turn the rolls over. Once the flipped side has gotten its tan, use your utensil to remove them from the pan and onto your plate. Repeat for the next however many rolls you choose to make.
11. Cut the rolls in half and serve with soy sauce. [Note: I haven't tried it in soy sauce, but I figured people tend to like it like that, so.. Also, for added presentation, serve in a square plate with a basil leaf at the side. Looks awesome and tastes even better.]
12. Indulge. In other words, devour. EAT AND ENJOY!

I hope you all enjoyed my rant and recipe and the following is my challenge to you. Make the spring rolls and let me know if they were terrible and made you never want to eat veggies again or so awesome that you've already run out of spring roll wrappers. OR tell me a veggie recipe I should try or something.
P.S. If anyone does decide to try the recipe, please don't hold me accountable for any mishaps. Haha. Enjoy!

Dinner And A 2009 Movie?

Well, as you can all see, I have revamped my little blog. It took numerous hours, and yes, I did put the effort and time to do so. There are quite a few topics bouncing around in my head at the moment, but I will save those for other entries. For now, I will introduce the concept of Fishbowl Posts. A Fishbowl Post is where I reply to a question I've been asked. I choose the question at random from a list of questions that people have asked me. Hence, the term Fishbowl.. Anyway, here's the first Fishbowl Post.

Question:
What movies do you think were the best so far of 2009?
[Asked By: Mr. Victor Y. D.]

Answer:
Well, I'm not a big fan of movies. Why? They tend to follow the same plot, rely too much on special effects, fail to surprise me, or not interest me at all. Take the whole Transformers craze.. I just didn't care for it, but I digress. There has only been one good movie of 2009 [that I've seen, at least]. And that would have to be [drum roll!!] Coraline.
Coraline, for those of you who don't know, was based on the book by Neil Gaiman; well worth the read, by the way. The film was directed by Henry Selick [not Tim Burton] and was almost as grand as the book. Coraline was filled with adventure, irony, and life lessons. Seriously. Or maybe I'm not too serious about that. I'm not going to elaborate or further think about that statement. However, it was a great movie because it was colorful, different from the book, and not that many people ruined Coraline. Also, I managed to sit through it and ENJOY it. Which brings me to another point! If a work of ANYTHING is cliché, don't expect me to work my way through it. Really. So, if you're someone who likes HenrySelick|Tim Burton films, a little twist on a not-so-PG-rated-film, talking cats, buttons for eyes, and Other Mothers, go see it if you haven't already, and if you have, do so again. And now I challenge you, my fair reader, to answer this same Fishbowl Question. So leave a comment or such with your favorite movies of this year. OR better yet, ask me a FB question you'd like me to respond to. And whenever I happen to pull the question out of the bowl, I'll answer. Until the next post..

My Debut Into Possible Disaster..

Well, I’ve made countless blogs before, but none have really.. lasted. So, I’m hoping that this one does. I like to rant, but usually don’t have a suitable outlet to do so.. So this blog may or may not become said outlet. I like cookies and ducks. Don’t ask me to elaborate on that, because I am not going to backspace that now and rethink. Will make a list of things that you should know about yours truly soon. Until then.

BEEP.
